Job Description

As an IT Quality Assurance Analyst at UWM, you will get to work with a growing team of QA experts skilled in manual test planning and execution. You will play a pivotal role in helping ensure the quality of deployed software at UWM. We work in a fast-paced, agile environment where code is deployed frequently, as we move toward the ability to deploy on demand. We’re looking for a candidate with a passion for delivery to join our team of over 2,000 technology professionals at the most innovative and disruptive company in the fintech space. This will be for our Docs AI team, that uses AI to extract financial information during the lending process.Advocate for quality as a subject matter expert in UWM's applications, testing tools, and testing/defect managementDesign, build, and manage test plans and strategies Support the testing of multiple ongoing projects concurrentlyPerform manual testing and support automated test creationFollow industry standard defect management processesSuggest and implement new testing processes that will help streamline developmentConduct test case reviews with peersRequired:7+ years of experience in manual software testingProficiency testing web services (such as SoapUI, REST or equivalent tools)Experience in supporting the integration of automation into CI/CD toolingUnderstanding of Object-oriented programmingExperience in creating scripted tests for API testing (in applications including Postman)Knowledge in QA automationtoolsHands on database testing or SQL experienceAbility to communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable wayDemonstrated ability to manage projects, test cases and defectsExperience defining test strategy in collaboration with business stakeholdersDevelop modular, reusable and maintainable tests to be integrated into existing automation framework by quality engineersAbility to mentor less experienced quality analystsAvailable for on-call testing requestsOn-site attendancePreferred:Mortgage or financial services knowledge or experienceBachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information SystemsExperience with JiraExperience with Selenium, JMeterExperience with testing Software built on AI platformReady to join thousands of talented team members who are making the dream of home ownership possible for more Americans?
