From corporate campuses to single sites, EFS provides a range of services that support mission-critical areas of financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transportation, and government sectors.Job Title: Boiler OperatorJob Summary:Operates and monitors steam boilers, deaerators, DI water systems, and other critical facility equipment such as air compressors, air dryer, cooling towers, nitrogen supply and pump packages. Takes periodic water quality measurements and adjusts water treatment chemical pumps.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Boiler Operator monitoring of boiler and other critical facilities.Inspection and monitoring of plant utilities; walk rounds of facility to take readings and record observations of anomalies.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.0-2 yrs working in an industrial environmentDrivers license required.Speaks EnglishMechanical background and detail orientedAble to read gauges and thermometers.Speaks clearly and distinctly for plant pages and announcements.Works in a hot environment at times.Follows procedures precisely.Able to learn through hands on approachExtreme reliability to report for duty on assigned shifts.Notice to prospective employees:There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
