And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience.Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.Ensure safe handling of items through decontamination process according to policy and procedureEnsure vendor compliance for delivery and packaging of equipment/instrumentation Processing all equipment/instrumentation from all campuses, and offsite ancillary departmentsEnsure all safety measures taken with regard to policy and procedureDisassemble items for cleaning and sterilizing; reassembling cleaned and sterilized itemsComplete tray assembly inclusive of inventory, inspection, assembly and containmentComplete sterilization process according to policy and procedureTransport completed instrumentation to defined storage locations within the operating roomDemonstrates ability to meet business needs of department with regular, reliable attendance.Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, TJC, DNV, OSHA and other federal/state regulatoryEducation:High school graduate or equivalent.Experience:1 year prior experience in Central Services/Central Supply preferred.Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification to be obtained within 1 year of start date.*Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
