Supervisor - Outpatient Rehabilitation Services

Department: Outpatient Rehabilitation ServicesShift: DaysFacility: Saint Joseph Hospital Location: Elgin, ILSupervises Rehab Services daily activities. Coordinates and supervises staff and clinical affiliates, treatments and activity schedule. Assists in planning and establishing policies and procedures and development of new programs. Trains and monitors competency of new and current personnel. Assists in staff performance evaluations. Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census with a negative variance. Assists Director in management of department and assumes any delegated assignments.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Graduate from an approved school of physical therapy with a BA or BS degree OR2. Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy OR3. Graduate of an accredited college or university with Bachelors in speech therapy required.4. MS Degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.5. Three years of experience as a practicing therapist.6. Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state OR7. Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license OR8. Licensed by the current state in Speech-Language Pathology.9.
