To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visitwww.amcor.com|LinkedIn|YouTubeWhat we offer:Profit Sharing BonusFull Benefits Package401K with Employer MatchTuition ReimbursementManages the plant production schedule by prioritizing molds and machines to run in the most productive and efficient method to ensure customer and plant level needs are met.Provide a well-planned production schedule, making adjustments as needed.Work with all departments to identify best methods for performance improvements.Identify potential capacity bottlenecks and resolve with management.Maximize machine efficiencies, maintain budgeted inventory levels to meet requirements.Work closely with operations to drive out costs within the plant.Monitor inventory control to properly cycle moldsWork with sub-contractors to utilize outsourcing as neededWork with Customer Service Representatives and other plant departments to ensure all issues are addressedProvide management information regarding capacity and utilization for assigned work centersAttend and participate in production meetingsMaintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and department health requirementsEnter work orders into the scheduling system as needed.Exemplifies the Amcor Values and Behaviors at all times. All other duties as assigned.2-3 years of experience in materials planning and inventory management preferred or equivalent manufacturing experienceBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.Working knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems preferred.Strong PC and analytical skills.Must be flexible to work extended hours and weekends occasionall.Good communication skills--verbal and written; must effectively communicate with employees, vendors, and customers.Independent in working effectively with little supervision; self-starter, displaying ability to work and deliver results in a fast-paced, performance driven environment.Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to Adapt to changes in the work environment; Manage competing demands; Change approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.Strong sense of urgencyPhysical Demands:Frequently required to sit, view computer screens, speak, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, stand, and walk.Specific vision abilities required include distance, peripheral, and depth perception.Must have ability to hear and respond to shouted warnings, alarms and horns on forklifts.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
