Shift Supervisor

Responsible for supervising the material distribution department in collaboration with Operations and Materials Distribution Managers.Maintains day-to-day communications with client Materials Distribution Managers and CBPS’s Operations Manager & DirectorKeeps management informed of all operational issuesWorks with management to evaluate, research and recommend solutions regarding Distribution mgt related issues.Prioritize, schedule and delegates assignments to staff and monitors progressEnsure quality and productivity standards are being met by staffEnsure proper maintenance and usage of all equipment and suppliesInterface with the client, operations team, and corporate departments as necessaryInitiate communication and problem solving with regard to customer concernsAssists Site Manager with administration of HR policies and procedures including safety, performance evaluations, employee training, development and motivationAssists in recruiting new employeesCompiles weekly and monthly statistical data to be used by Manager for reportingManage budget and control expenses effectivelyAssists with staff payroll, site billing, and service enhancementsPerforms other duties as assignedHigh School Diploma; College degree preferredOne year in hospital materials distribution, inventory management or logistics preferredPrevious experience managing a staff of 10+ non-exempt employees a plusStrong product knowledge a mustWorking knowledge of Lawson (or similar supply chain management systems) requiredAbility to use word processing and spreadsheets applications (Microsoft Office Programs)Must be a “critical thinker” with an ability to quickly adapt to a changing environmentDisplays sense of urgency and understands who the “customers” areExcellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills are required for success in this functionDemonstrated good ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills and initiative to improve processesConsistently display a friendly, positive, and professional demeanorPHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to lift 40 lbsRepetitive motionReaching, pushing, pulling carts weighing up to 250lbsWalking, standing for extended periods of timeWhat We Offer:Competitive pay & benefits!Comprehensive training and development programs that prepare employees to advance from withinA company focused on creating a positive work and client environmentEmployee discounts on entertainment, products, and services nationwide!Come Join Our Team!
