This role involves determining the correct parts for production, creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs)/Parts Lists, and managing urgent part needs. Emphasis is placed on optimizing inventory by utilizing slow-moving and obsolete stock.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnalyze data to leverage slow-moving and obsolete inventory.Collaborate with purchasing to handle part information, date requirements, substitutions, and returns.Accurately determine and create BOMs/Parts Lists to meet build terpret customer specifications, technical drawings, and schematics.Create and maintain BOMs in the M3 system.Verify correct application of parts to work orders and assist production with parts research.Define and prioritize urgent parts for next-day delivery.Assist with manufacturing and purchased part creation.Provide support for interbranch requests and other parts-related inquiries.Meet deadlines and assist with yearly physical inventory.Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
