Associate Attorney

Description We are in search of a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team in Los Gatos, California. This role is within the field of Homeowners Association Real Estate Law and will involve working in a hybrid environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Work on litigation cases, supporting the team of seven attorneys u2022 Contribute to the annual target of 1700 billables u2022 Leverage legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, LexisNexis to manage cases efficiently u2022 Prepare and present briefings on complex legal issues u2022 Handle civil litigation cases and work closely with the claim administration team u2022 Address and resolve customer complaints in accordance with company policies u2022 Maintain and update legal documentation in the company's management system u2022 Utilize your experience in real estate law to provide legal advice and guidance u2022 Work on civil litigation cases and provide expertise in real estate law. Requirements u2022 Must hold a valid law degree from an accredited institution u2022 Must be admitted to the bar in the state of operation u2022 Proficiency in using legal software such as LexisNexis, 3M, and Case Management Software u2022 Prior experience in Real Estate Law is preferred u2022 Experience with civil litigation and claim administration u2022 Must have solid knowledge and experience in briefing and handling complaints u2022 Must have strong documentation skills u2022 Experience in complaint handling and civil litigation is required u2022 Knowledge of Management Systems and their application in legal practice u2022 Demonstrable experience in civil litigation and claim administration u2022 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team u2022 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments u2022 High level of professionalism and adherence to ethical guidelines u2022 Excellent time management abilities and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
