Detectors Assembler

Job Title: Detectors Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Detectors Assembler to perform a variety of routine mechanical assembly operations. You will conduct inspections of your own work and that of other associates to ensure correctness. Utilizing hand tools and power tools, you will assemble products based on blueprints, including the use of screwdrivers and crimpers. You will apply process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell, recording production time and quantity data. A strong commitment to safety policies and procedures is essential. Responsibilities + Perform routine mechanical assembly operations using hand and power tools. + Conduct inspections to ensure the correctness of assembled products. + Utilize blueprints to assemble products accurately. + Apply process specifications for product production within assigned cells. + Record production time and quantity data. + Demonstrate adherence to safety policies and procedures. + Be open to cross-training and working on the assembly of detectors, including primary, switches, leak test, brazing, etching, and TIG welding. Essential Skills + At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience. + Ability to read and communicate in English. + High School Diploma required. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in aerospace is a plus but not required. + BA/BS required for those intending to pursue leadership roles. Why Work Here? The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1st shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. The assignment is temporary to hire, lasting approximately 90 working days (around 4 months). Attendance and tenure are highly valued.
