Activities Coordinator

NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. Our beautiful, six bed NeuroRestorative facility located in Goleta, California provides residential and day program rehabilitation services for individuals who have experienced brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in-patient treatment in a residential home-like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes Neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care. As Activities Coordinator, you will conduct group and individual recreational activities according to an individualu2019s needs, capabilities, and interests. + Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and implement meaningful group activities with focus on emphasizing the preferences of individuals served. + Provide daily instruction and guidance to staff regarding activity delivery methods and techniques as well as at staff meetings. + Determine and implement necessary precautions in exercising responsibility for the care and safety of individuals served. + Maintain curriculum binders for each classroom to ensure that varied and age-appropriate activities are planned and conducted for all individuals served. Activities Coordinator + Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour (based on experience) + Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday, some weekends + Valid driveru2019s license in good standing with car registration and vehicle insurance required + Certification in Activity Coordinator preferred or 2+ years of experience + Full benefits package for full-time employees (medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K with company match, life insurance, and more) Qualifications Activity program personnel with appropriate training and experience shall be available to meet the needs and interests of patients. An activity program leader shall be designated by and be responsible to the administration.
