Painter

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Painter to join our team for a full-time position. In this role, you will ensure that all painted surfaces meet our high standards of quality and finish, contributing to the overall excellence of our production process. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is able to patch and paint sheetrock walls in office setting, possesses knowledge/experience installing corner guards, and complete small carpentry tasks. Pay: $2 (2.00per hour. _The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM ABM 2025 Employee Benefits (Frontline) ( Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Project planning u00b7 Experience with Scuff Master Paint u00b7 Able to install wall blocking for monitors u00b7 Knowledgeable on reading floor plans u00b7 Computer experience on ticketing systems, emails, Microsoft Word u00b7 Daily & weekly status report u00b7 Ability to set up and work on ladders and scaffolding u00b7 Be able to lift 50 lbs. u00b7 Daily clean up after task completion u00b7 Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments u00b7 Make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work u00b7 Select materials necessary for the work u00b7 Paint walls, woodwork, and fixtures u00b7 Identify surface peculiarities and determine the types of paint required for different applications u00b7 Prepare surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes u00b7 Mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency u00b7 Use spray gun and/or brush to apply paint Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial painting highly preferred. Strong knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and appropriate tools for touch-up work. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
