42897BR Requisition ID: 42897BR Business Unit: NAU Job Description: CDM Smith has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Service Leader to lead client engagement and business development for municipal water services for multiple private, municipal and state agency clients in the greater New England market. CDM Smith has been providing services in the municipal infrastructure sector in New England for over 75 years. We have worked on some of the largest infrastructure projects for major clients throughout the region and are looking for someone who will help continue this tradition through both the management of existing client portfolios and the development of strategies to grow business with new clients. As a member of this team, you will contribute to CDM Smith's mission by: u2022 Developing client engagement strategies and pursuit plans for new water, wastewater and environmental business in the New England region. u2022 Aligning CDM Smithu2019s firm-wide strategies with local business development activities. u2022 Being responsible of the overall financial performance of projects within a client portfolio. u2022 Being a highly visible advocate of CDM Smith through active participation in professional and industry organizations. u2022 Assembling and leading client and project teams to meet client needs and project requirements. u2022 Developing and managing proposal efforts and presentations. u2022 Implementing CDM Smithu2019s Sales Delivery Process and proactive use of CDM Smithu2019s sales tools. u2022 Negotiating critical issues with clients and potential teaming partners and subconsultants. u2022 Development of technical approaches and strategies. u2022 Assisting on individual projects and meeting billable hour targets. u2022 Meeting annual sales goals from both existing and new clients. u2022 Managing business development budgets and costs. u2022 Engaging in routine coordination with other area client service leaders and internal business units to meet business objectives. u2022 Following and implementing CDM Smithu2019s standardized business practices. u2022 Participating in CDM Smithu2019s training program to reinforce core competencies of the client service leader position and obtain requisite certifications within 6-months of onboarding. u2022 Adhering to CDM Smithu2019s Core Values. Job Title: Client Service Leader - Water & Wastewater Services Group: NEG Employment Type: Regular Minimum Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree. u2022 15 years of related experience. u2022 Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. u2022 Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 15 years of experience with municipal water or wastewater projects since obtaining Bachelors degree. u2022 Previous experience winning/managing. water/wastewater projects in the greater New England market (southeastern MA highly preferred). u2022 Strong client relationships with water/wastewater clients in the New England water market. u2022 Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline and/or Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification. u2022 Strong interpersonal, time management, organization, and listening skills. Pay Range Minimum: $131,248 Pay Range Maximum: $229,694 Additional Compensation: All bonuses at CDM Smith are discretionary and may or may not apply to this position. Work Location Options: Hybrid Work Options may be considered for successful candidate.
