In 2021 we moved into a brand new ISO 17025accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed to conduct food chemistrytesting specializing in infant formula, sole-source nutrition products,hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Ourtesting portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticidesand shelf-life studies. We test of a variety of instrumentationincluding UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. We offer an innovativeand collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to developexpertise on a wide variety of analytical instruments If you arelooking for an opportunity to work for an exciting growth orientedcompany, we look forward to talking with you Responsibilities include,but are not limited to, the following: Applies GMP/ GLP in all areasof responsibility, as appropriate Learns to conduct routine analysesindependently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols,SOP's and regulatory agency guidelines Learns how to document workand maintains study documentation and laboratory records Learns howto use laboratory equipment and software appropriate for assigned tasks Attends and participates in project meetings Learns to performpeer review of data Learns to plan assigned workload on a daily basisand effectively schedule multiple assignments Contributes to acohesive team environment and maintains a positive attitude. Plansindividual workload in coordination with team members Performs otherrelated duties as assigned The ideal candidate would possess: Strongcomputer, scientific, and organizational skills Excellentcommunication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability towork independently and as part of a team Self-motivation,adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn newtechniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accuraterecords, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (laboratory experience may besubstituted for a degree) Authorization to work in the United Statesindefinitely without restriction or sponsorship May work withpotentially hazardous materials Will be exposed to potential foodallergens (ex: milk, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish, etc) Overtime and weekend work as required Work requires some standing andsitting for long periods of time, including working within a laboratoryhood and standing at a bench top Work requires use of PPE (personalprotective equipment) Reside within a commutable distance to Madison,WI What we offer: As an employer, we're keen to look after our peoplewith as much dedication as they look after our patients.
