As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from: Next-day pay for many of our open positions The choice of long-term positions for steady work or short-term positions for extra cash The convenience of applying for and accepting jobs right from our mobile app, JobStack Text “READY” to 81555 to download JobStack and get started today Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $18.25 - $18.25 / hour What you'll be doing as a Roto Molding Machine Operator: Fills moulding tooling with proper resin/dye and weight Installs pins and inserts into proper place on the mould Send arms in as soon as they are ready Remove the pins as soon as the mould comes out of the cooling station Place pins in specified location on the cart. Ensure they are properly placed according to corresponding mould location number Unload mould or tooling as required by machine time Visually inspect each part for quality Reject non-conforming parts as needed and places them in designated area Ensure proper maintenance of tooling at all times Trim and deburr part and put in cart and/or box Maintains part counts for inventory Maintains cleanliness of work area Follows all appropriate safety regulations Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department or work crew Maintains time and productions records May be selected to perform duties based upon production demands Available shifts: Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) & 2nd Shift (Evening) Job requirements: High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form Ability to deal with problems effectively Basic Windows Based Computer Skills Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms Ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch, crawl Ability to talk, hear and taste or smell Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, team lift all weight above 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus Ability to be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat and vibration Ability to work in a loud environment Adaptability/Flexibility- Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, willingly takes on new responsibilities to adapt to changing work requirements, handles pressure, adjusts plans to meet changing needs Attendance/Punctuality- Is consistently at work on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings on time Dependability- Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals, including commitment to mandatory overtime; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate manager with an alternative plan Initiative- Volunteers readily, Undertakes self-development activities; Seeks increased responsibilities; Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities Organizational Support- Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values Quality- Follows Mission-Vision and Core Competency Statement.
