All employment offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.Oversee and approve all necessary repairs/improvements for the facility systems and processes to ensure efficiency, safety and complianceMaintain accurate safety records and logs and produce required reports as neededSupervise and monitor maintenance staff and maintenance contractors working in the facilityProvide ongoing preventative maintenance and upkeep of the facility, building, building systems, fire/safety equipment and medical equipmentInspect maintenance work for quality, safety, and complianceMaintain a clean, safe working environment (workshop)Verify daily logs of refrigerator temperaturesValidate daily test and logs of water temperatures within the facilityMandate and observe budgetary guidelines regarding supplies and service and follows proper procedure as if relates to purchase order system and approval before ordering supplies.Adhere to facility policies and proceduresActs as chairperson for Safety CommitteeAbide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance PlanAssure compliance with State and Federal Regulatory codesHigh school graduate or equivalent;College degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering is highly preferredMust have at least 5years experience in plant engineering and a maintenance supervisory roleExpertise in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation systems, carpentry, plumbing, and HVAC are essentialWorking knowledge of the principles of supervision, organization and administrationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesMust exercise considerable independent judgmentEffective communication and collaboration skills are required to work with facility staff, contractors and general publicEqual Opportunity EmployerFutureCare has a longstanding policy of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of each individual and is free from all forms of employment discrimination, including harassment, because of race, color, sex, gender, pregnancy, age, religion, national origin, citizenship, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
