Standardized Patient

Standardized Patients report directly to the Director of Clinical Simulation. The major responsibility of this position is to portray all the characteristics of a real patient, simulating the signs and symptoms. Standardized patients will be physically examined by students and faculty as part of the student learning experience and complete some sort of feedback on the student performance following each encounter. Standardized Patients will also play varying roles within the simulation center memorizing scripts or acting as proctors.Located in Henderson, Nevada, approximately twenty-five minutes from the iconic Las Vegas strip, Touro University Nevada is a non-profit medical, health sciences, and education graduate university focused on positively impacting our community in healthcare and education.
