Project Managers at Potelco will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, subcontractors, safety, quality, and implementation.If the following interests you, we encourage you to apply!The pay for this role is an hourly rate between $34-$38, depending on experience.Project Planning & CoordinationAssist in planning construction and maintenance projects from concept through executionSchedule project phases and allocate time and resources accordinglyCoordinate with field leadership, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve scope or timeline conflictsAttend pre-bid meetings, job walks, and project kickoffsCost Management & Estimating SupportAssist in preparing cost estimates for distribution, transmission, and substation projectsTrack and update project budgets, forecasts, and change ordersCollect and analyze cost data and performance feedback to inform future bidsSupport proposal development including quantity takeoffs, bid documents, and customer complianceContract & Documentation ManagementHelp prepare, edit, and track contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, and change ordersUpload and manage project documentation including proposals, estimates, and reportsEnsure all documents meet compliance, formatting, and contractual criteriaSupport intake and outflow tracking of project documentation and deliverablesAdministrative & Financial SupportAssist with accounts payable/receivable as needed (e.g., coding, invoice review, billing support)Contribute to budget estimates, progress reporting, and cost-trackingCollaborate with the office team on internal project reporting and scheduling updatesOther duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or relevant Ability to write business correspondence and communicate effectively.Must be willing to travel, short-term.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other managers, clients, customers, and local permitting agencies.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s).Valid driver’s license.Preferred Qualifications:High-voltage powerline industry experience.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceThe anticipated compensation for this position is USD $34.00/Hr. - USD $38.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
