We are passionate about continuous growth, innovation, and maintaining a culture that thrives on success and commitment to safety.Our mission?To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen.This continued success has created a need for a BDA Fire Alarm Technicianto work out of our Wall, NJ location.What You’ll Be Doing: Here's a glimpse of some of the responsibilities:Test and install Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to enhance emergency responder radio coverage in buildings.Integrate BDA systems with Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and ensure proper signaling and compliance.Read and interpret construction documents, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to project activities and progress.Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors.What You'll Need:High school diploma is required. Industry experience preferredIndividual must possess a valid Driver's license and have a clean driving recordAbility to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and specificationsExtensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installationExperience with a variety of system manufacturing including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.Ability to lift 50+ poundsComfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spacesAbility to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditionsWhat We Offer: At Encore, we’re all about creating a culture where success is celebrated.
