Position: Occupational Therapist - Certified Hand TherapistLocation: New Milford, CTSchedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (will also consider part-time)Compensation:$75,000 - $110,000/year (pending experience)Incentives: $15,000 sign-on bonus and our student loan repayment program!Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time or part-time Certified Hand Therapist - Occupational Therapist for ouroutpatient orthopedic center in New Milford. Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with at least one year of experience working in hand therapy (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.In this role, you will provide specialized care for injuries and conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve function and reduce pain. Expected to work with various populations, including post-operative patients, individuals with chronic conditions, and the management of orthopedic injuries. The hand therapist will thoroughly assess the patient's hand and upper extremity function, identifying impairments, limitations, and disabilities.
