Qualified candidates will be considered for a Program Management position, also acting as team lead and primary customer contact for projects.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with clients, outside design consultants and internal engineers during conceptual and final design to develop and/or procure electrical design plans, specifications and narrativesCompleting both conceptual and detailed take-offs of electrical (service entrance, power, low voltage systems, etc.) scopes to be incorporated into the overall project budget or Guaranteed Maximum PriceAssist management with the identification, prequalification and bidding of electrical scopes of work, as neededEnsuring appropriate construction materials are incorporated into designs and conducting thorough review of consultant designs and subcontractor/vendor shop drawings to ensure design intent is metProviding technical advice to other members on the D/B teamAssisting project management staff in obtaining local planning and/or regulatory approval for electrical scopesMonitoring and inspecting work undertaken by subcontractors and/or our own tradesOther duties as required.QualificationsDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree/experience required.5+ years of work experience in electrical design (essential)Experience in the design and construction of industrial, food manufacturing and/or cold box (refrigerated) facilitiesProfessional Engineer license in Indiana or Idaho (not required)Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials and codesAbility to assemble bid set (RFP) drawing packagesAbility to liaise with third-party electrical design professionals, as requiredAbility to liaise with professionals from other disciplinesExperience with subcontractor managementExperience in project managementGood communication skills and ability to communicate with customers on remote sites (infrequent travel required)Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.Notice to prospective employees:?
