Security Officer Security Officer- Full Time/ Night Shift _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ Work location: Texas Health Huguley Hospital: 11801 South Fwy, Burleson, TX 76028 Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Night Shift; 2230-0700 Department Highlights: + Team based environment + Multiple shifts available to fit your schedule + Uniforms and Duty Gear is provided + Opportunities to advance Hereu2019s What You Need Education + High School Diploma or equivalent required And + Associateu2019s Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, or closely related field is preferred Experience + If Texas Private Security Level 2, 2+ years of experience preferred + If Texas Private Security Level 3, 1+ years of experience preferred Licenses and Certifications + DL - Drivers License (Class C and insurable) upon hire required And + ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 days required And + NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 days required And + CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification 120 days required And + TASER Certification- Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 days required What You Will Do + Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry. + Locks and opens doors according to schedules. + Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas. + Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property. + Maintains compliance with Texas Health Police policies. + Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity. + Fills out incident/offense report forms and composes narratives. + Utilizes critical thinking skills and provides the appropriate level of force for the situation + Responds to and activates the appropriate emergency response code + Interacts with and provides assistance to Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency staff as required Additional perks of being a Texas Health Security Officer: + Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits. + At Texas Health, our people make this a great place to work every day.
