Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client in Livermore, California. This is a temp to hire position, offering an excellent opportunity to transition into a stable role while contributing to essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy in handling various accounting tasks. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and process monthly contract invoices to ensure timely billing. u2022 Follow up on outstanding invoices and manage accounts receivable collections. u2022 Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards to ensure financial accuracy. u2022 Handle cash receipts and remote bank deposits efficiently. u2022 Participate in audits related to insurance, payroll, job costs, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee benefits. u2022 Provide support to administrative staff in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and service-related tasks. Requirements u2022 Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. u2022 Experience in invoice processing and follow-up. u2022 Knowledge of credit card and bank reconciliation procedures. u2022 Familiarity with Foundation software is highly desirable. u2022 Previous experience in construction accounting is preferred. u2022 Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment.
