Responsibilities: u2022 Represent clients in workers' compensation cases from initial consultation to resolution. u2022 Draft and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and discovery responses. u2022 Conduct thorough research and analysis of workers' compensation laws and cases. u2022 Collaborate with team members and department leads to develop effective legal strategies. u2022 Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in hearings and trials. u2022 Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, updating them on their case progress. u2022 Utilize advanced legal software and AI tools to enhance efficiency and case management. u2022 Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines in handling cases. u2022 Participate in firm-wide events and contribute to maintaining a positive work environment. u2022 Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations. Requirements u2022 Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state of California. u2022 Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law or related legal fields. u2022 Strong expertise in civil litigation, including drafting motions and briefs. u2022 Proficiency in conducting discovery and legal research. u2022 Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. u2022 Familiarity with AI-driven tools and legal technology is preferred. u2022 Strong organizational and communication skills.
