Medical Front Desk Receptionist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Laguna Hills, California. This role is vital to ensuring seamless communication and operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have experience managing patient interactions, scheduling, and administrative tasks, with proficiency in Epic Systems and bilingual skills in English and Spanish. Responsibilities: u2022 Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently using the Epic electronic health records system. u2022 Handle patient registration and check-out processes with accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Direct inquiries regarding test results, prescriptions, and referrals to the appropriate departments or staff. u2022 Maintain and update patient records and billing information within the Epic System. u2022 Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure a smooth flow of patient services. u2022 Answer incoming calls promptly and provide accurate information or direct them appropriately. u2022 Perform various administrative duties to support the operations of the healthcare facility. u2022 Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff, ensuring a positive experience for all parties. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting. u2022 Proficiency in using Epic Systems for patient scheduling and record management. u2022 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. u2022 Ability to manage inbound calls and address patient inquiries effectively. u2022 Familiarity with basic medical terminology. u2022 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. u2022 Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
