Job Description A manufacturers' sales agent in the electrical utility industry is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. The agency is a local representative for manufacturers to sell their to electric utilities providers. They are the outsourced sales, engineering, and order management resource to the manufacturers they represent. Additionally, they provide utility customers personalized engineering services to align them with the manufacturersu2019 products. The inside sales team provides a major asset to the company by offering critical support to the Outside Sales Engineers. This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute to the company's team-focused organization. By working together with the Outside Sales Engineers, this position will ensure the success of our company, our customers, and principals to obtain their goals and bring forth continued success. The inside sales team is responsible for maintaining current account productivity and organization: processing and managing quotes and orders, tracking ongoing projects, managing contacts within the CRM, handling bid submissions, data analysis, and providing general customer service tasks among other responsibilities. Detailed Day to Day Details: Spot Quotes: Handle spot quotes that come into your email from a distributor. Provide pricing and lead time. Follow up on all spot quotes. Salesforce/Dropbox: Add contacts to Salesforce Review ongoing blanket contracts (should be in Salesforce). Confirm pricing frequency (monthly, quarterly, every 6 months, or yearly) and confirm new pricing has been sent to the distributor/customer. Bids: Handle bid submissions by organizing required documentation. Partner with outside sales for support on any technical questions. Follow up on all bid submissions. Check bid site for Muniu2019s daily Data Analysis: Review current POs. What items are not being purchased that are on the blanket contracts? Customer Service/Transactional: Utilize different manufacturer portals to get status updates on Purchase Orders Material Returns - Handle MRAs (Material Return Authorizations) to manufacturers.
