At Cleveland Clinic, you will receive endless support and appreciation and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.As a PFS Department Supervisor II, you will support the PB Commercial Admin Denials and PB Additional Documentation (AMRRADS) team by directing the daily operations of a designated PFS team and overseeing the implementation of new systems, special projects, and administrative functions. You will also serve as a primary liaison between internal departments and external contacts, ensuring effective communication and coordination. In this role, you will overall drive the management of insurance denials and at-risk escalated accounts receivable, oversee daily inventory performance with necessary staffing adjustments and conduct high-dollar loss adjustment reviews to optimize recoveries.A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Candidates must reside in Ohio or Florida to be considered for this position.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Supervise the daily activities of a specified team in PFS.Assist in the development and implementation of new systems, special projects and administrative duties.Maintain internal communications and serve as a liaison between other departments or external contacts.Coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels by providing leadership, orientation, training, coaching and plete performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.Recommend and implement management reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting of department goals and results.Collaborate with Sr Manager to recommend and implement policies and procedures and to resolve patient service and third-party reimbursement issues.Foster an environment of total customer responsiveness.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:High School Diploma or GEDThree years of third-party reimbursement experienceAdvanced knowledge of patient accounts management to include accounts receivable, collections, billing, third party reimbursement, cash application and diagnosis codingLeadership or supervisory experience and strong communication skillsPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related areaExperience developing business systems, procedures, reimbursement or collection techniquesPrevious experience supporting a team responsible for insurance follow-up, including working no response and denied inventoryEpic Resolute experienceExcel and Tableau dashboards experienceExperience with Ohio and Florida Medicaid MACsOur caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
