Primary Purpose The Analyst, Operations Excellence is a critical team member to the success of United Site Servicesu2019 operational strategy. This role supports the Director, Operations Excellence in developing and evolving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across field service operations. This role will own the data-driven execution engine synthesizing performance metrics, identifying gaps and trends, and helping branch leadership drive accountability and continuous improvement in frontline performance. This role will also support initiatives including but not limited to: Route Sequence Compliance, Failure Rates, Overtime (OT%), Stem Time, Lytx Driver Behavior Scores, Gate Check Results, eDVIR Compliance, and other technician-level operational metrics. Essential Functions u2022 Travels up to 25%, one week a month. Must be located within one hour from an airport. u2022 Partners with the Director of Operational Excellence to define, standardize, and document field SOPs aligned with enterprise goals u2022 Translates strategic priorities into measurable KPIs across Technician, Branch, Market, and Region levels u2022 Develops and maintains process documentation and reference materials to support standard adoption and sustainment u2022 Owns and maintains recurring Sigma dashboards and ad hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and usability u2022 Monitors KPI performance, including route sequence adherence, OT%, stem time, gate check outcomes, and eDVIR completion rates u2022 Contributes to the development of region and branch-level scorecards and performance review materials u2022 Conducts root cause analysis on lagging performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities u2022 Provides benchmarking, insights, and support for branch-level deep dives and operational action plans u2022 Collaborates with cross-functional partners (Operations, Safety, Fleet, Procurement, HR) to ensure and improve data integrity u2022 Develops and delivers communications, training materials, and tools to support metric and SOP adoption u2022 Owns and continuously updates GM and OM playbooks with new tools, SOPs, and metrics u2022 Participates in site visits, operational interventions, and regional operations calls to ensure field relevance and impact u2022 Supports pilot testing and structured rollouts of new operational initiatives across the network u2022 Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Min/Preferred Education Level Description Minimum 4 Year / Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience EXPERIENCE Minimum Years of Experience Maximum Years of Experience Comments 3 in Operational Excellence, Field Operations, or Business Analytics roles. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
