JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Details Job Location Madison Regional Office -Fitchburg, WI Position Type Full Time Description ConstructionSuperintendent Do you have a strong background in constructionmanagement, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability tosupervise large construction projects within budget and on schedule? Key Responsibilities: Develop andimplement overall project set-up and site logistics plan and identifyscope of work to implement the plan. Create project work schedulesidentifying the critical path including expediting the delivery to siteof critical materials and equipment. Oversee work among allsubcontractors to promote a coordinated project operation includingmanaging and making decisions related to the performance, quality, andschedule of subcontractors. Ensure all necessary permits and insurancesare in place and kept current for the term of the project. Work in closecoordination with Project Manager to create the projects weekly workschedule toensure that the project goals are met. Document project fieldissues that impact budget, quality or schedule and prepare RFIs toclarify questions on the building plans and details when necessary.Manage the work to ensure that it is all installed in compliance withand conforms to the approved contract documents and our qualitystandards. General Requirements: 5+ years of experience managing work inthe construction industry Bachelor's degree or 4 years of technicaltraining and/or related experience Completed OSHA 30 training course andone unit of the AGC Supervisor Training Program Ability to activelymaintain relationships within the construction contracting industryPossess exceptional organizational, leadership and planning skillsAbility to recognize and solve problems independently Strongcommunication and since of urgency The FRED Benefit: FRED's growthfuels career opportunities and advancement for our team members.
