We are in search of a Staff Engineer with expertise in AImiddleware and agent technology to help develop future AI middleware andagent platforms for PlayStation IT. This role blends deep expertise inAI engineering, systems integration, and full-stack development todesign and deliver intelligent agents that operate across enterprisedomains. This is a hands-on senior engineering role that requires astrong bias for action, an agile attitude, and the ability to changedirections quickly as the AI landscape evolves. Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and Operate AI Middleware: Design, implement, and manage ModelContext Protocol (MCP) servers, gateways, and API wrappers that securelyexpose enterprise systems, tools, and data for AI agent consumption.Build and Govern Agentic Workflows: Deploy and extend agentic AIplatforms (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain) to deliver resilientorchestration, enforcing governance, tracing, audit logs, andhuman-in-the-loop controls. Develop Enterprise Data & Context Pipelines:Build scalable pipelines for parsing, cleaning, embedding, and storingstructured and unstructured enterprise data (text, code, multimedia) toenable retrieval-augmented generation and domain-specific agentknowledge. Productize and Optimize AI Services: Translate prototypesinto production-grade microservices (Python/TypeScript, Kubernetes,CI/CD), optimizing for latency, throughput, resilience, and token/costefficiency. Ensure Security, Compliance, and Reliability: Engineer AImiddleware and workflows that meet enterprise standards for safety,governance, compliance, and fault tolerance, with built-in monitoring,telemetry, and automated evaluation harnesses.
