The successful candidates' clinical focuswill be aligned with one or more areas of clinical expertise in thedepartment, including, but not limited to board specialization ingeneral adult psychiatry. This position offers a variety of clinicalcare settings. In addition to having an individual caseload of patients,the successful candidate may work in a team-based model of outpatientcare and may have the opportunity to work in a collaborative care model.The successful candidate will supervise residents and medical studentsand may provide direct supervision in resident clinic. The positionincludes supervising residents taking call for the UW and VA MedicalCenter hospitals as well as sharing holiday call for the UW psychiatricunits. The position includes protected time for academic interests anddepartment-wide educational activities, and fellows.
