Overview Eagleview is hiring a Flight Systems Engineering Technician I. The Flight Systems Engineering Technician I is responsible for assembly and maintenance of all aerial camera systems in Eagleviewu2019s extensive fleet of imaging aircraft. This is a hands-on position working primarily in Eagleviewu2019s Flight Systems Laboratory. We are a fast paced, energetic team driven by continuous process improvement. Weu2019re looking for motivated, organized, and independent team members. This position requires good communication skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies. Responsibilities u2022 Assembly, test, and maintenance of custom camera equipment, including mechanical assembly, startup, and calibration using custom tools and software. u2022 Test and evaluation of aerial image quality, including identification of image quality root causes and proposal of solutions. u2022 Work closely with other Technicians as well as the Flight Support team to ensure that cameras are ready when needed. u2022 Collaborate with Development Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by internal stakeholders. u2022 Document service history and hardware deployment in electronic asset tracking system. u2022 Setup and testing of new or modified custom capture hardware. u2022 Suggesting production process improvements. u2022 Collaborate with Software Engineers to improve software tools and identify bugs. Qualifications u2022 Hands-on capability to build mechanical assemblies. u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Suite. u2022 Ability to lift and move 40 pounds. u2022 Effective team player. u2022 Ability to work independently. u2022 Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written correspondence. Preferredu2022 Two year or four year college degree in a Science, Technology, or Manufacturing related discipline preferred, but not required. u2022 Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage team goals and initiatives amidst competing priorities. u2022 Critical thinker with strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve. u2022 Familiarity with principles of digital photography and general construction of digital cameras. u2022 Familiarity with Python.
