Job Description

Responsibilities:Setup machine as appropriate to machine specificationsSetup and operate computer numerical control (CNC) and/or manual machines.Perform highly repetitive short-cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical unitsAbility to read and edit programs using Fagor or Fanuc controlsWork from written procedures, complex drawings and blueprints, sketches, operations sheets, specifications and instructions to plan work operationsProve out programs and edits as necessaryMust know G-CodeUse and interpret precision measuring instrumentsChanges tool off sets to maintain dimensions per production drawingsMonitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiencyMaintain required time, production and quality recordsDetermine and report any inefficiencies, defective materials, unusual conditions and machining issuesAdhere to all safety guidelines and proceduresRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent required1+ years of experience in similar capacity preferredRead and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsOperate a variety of computer numeric control (CNC)Check accuracy of work using precision measuring instrumentsMust be able to handle large and heavy parts using overhead cranes and other material handling equipmentShop environment, exposed to shop elementsMay work in tight and/or cramped spacesWalking, standing, lifting, stooping, reachingPhysical demand to make setups and perform machining operationsSome lifting of various weights, both assisted and unassistedStrong attention to detail and accuracyTeamwork and communication skillsMust be authorized to work in the USRENK America is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
