This position is an important part of our team and will be relied upon for creating and maintaining the integrity of a library of Standard and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf components. This position can be located at Minneapolis, MN, or Sterling Heights, MI.The role is Hybrid where you will be onsite a minimum of 3 days a week.As the Design Specialist Senior Librarian, you will:Maintain knowledge of Creo/Windchill system infrastructure and architecture.Maintain and continuously improve application software knowledge and skill base.Effectively maintain a current understanding of the ASME Y14 and company standards as they apply to Creo models.You will work closely with the Lead Librarian, Engineers and Designers in support of Combat Vehicle and Weapon Systems terface with manufacturers of Commercial Off-the-shelf components.Create, maintain, and update engineering records and files as appropriate.Utilize computer-aided design equipment to design components, modify existing components as required.Attention to detail is critical in this role.Ability to research detailed information and demonstrate confidence in results. Create and maintain Creo family tables.Create 3D solid models from imported geometry and 2D drawings.Generating or updating engineering models, specifications, or other related documentation.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Associate’s degree in design/engineering or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degreeStrong writing and oral communication skillsStrong organizational skillsCREO design experienceProficient in the creation and maintenance of Family Tables, Relations and Varied ItemsExcellent teamworkProductive while working independentlyPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience in military vehicle program and architecture Understanding of Model Based Definition (MBD)requirements Familiarity of Electrical and SAE specifications.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
