Your mission? Drive process improvements that enhance our manufacturing capabilities. You'll gain hands-on experience in: - **Project Management:** Plan, document, and execute a real process improvement initiative. - **Problem Solving:** Analyze product lines, identify inefficiencies, and propose smart solutions. - **Engineering Design**: Create and maintain technical documentation and design fixtures using 3D modeling tools. - **Team Collaboration:** Work side-by-side with professional engineers and cross-functional teams. **What We're Looking For** - Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field. - GPA of 3.0 or higher. - Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. - Interest or experience in 3D modeling/printing (SolidWorks is a plus). - Strong mechanical aptitude and curiosity about how things work. - Comfortable using basic tools (bonus if you've used mills or lathes). - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. - Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity. **Why Lake Shore?** At Lake Shore Cryotronics, we don't just make instruments---we enable discovery.
