Plus Monthly CommissionJob Summary: Reporting to the Showroom Manager, the Showroom Sales Consultantis responsible for providing exceptional service to Waterware Showroom / Plimpton & Hills customers. You'll acquire an extensive knowledge of company products to guide customers in their kitchen and bath design and remodeling projects. Advise customers in purchasing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, tubs, vanity, tile, and lighting. You will work collaboratively with internal and external customers to generate sales to best meet the customers needs.Benefits:Health, Dental and Vision insurance401K plan with employer matchingFSA/HSAVacation + Sick TimeLong Term DisabilityLife InsuranceWhat You’ll Do:Guide homeowners through the process of their bathroom or kitchen renovation with design assistance, product selection and purchaseWork with designers, architects, builders, plumbers and contractors through the project cycleDetermine customer needs and potential for additional sales through suggestion of related products which will enhance their experienceProactively seek opportunities to obtain new customers and introduce them to the products and services that best match their needsContinuously expand product knowledge in order to best service the customerDetermine product sale price in accordance with company procedure as well as address questions about product availabilityKeep pricing lists and structures confidentialTeach customers about product features and benefitsContinuously obtain information about new products, pricing changes and discontinued productsMaintain a clean, attractive, and organized showroom appearance to enhance salesMake sure all product catalogs are up-to-dateApply active listening skills; paying attention to what customers are saying, being sure to understand their needs and asking appropriate questions in order to best enhance their purchasing experienceAchieve set goals and objectives as well as consistently strive to exceed sales performance goalsOther duties as requiredWhat You’ll Need:Sales experience in kitchen/bath and/or design requiredAbility to communicate clearly and effectively; verbally and writtenFamiliarity with industry’s trendsResult driven and customer focusedHigh School diploma required; Associates degree in design preferredPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboardSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer workLight work.
