Part-Time Event Staff

The Event Staff position is a part-time, on-campus job with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include collaborating as a team and working independently to guarantee the smooth operation of events hosted by USUE.Responsibilities fluctuate based on the schedule and event. Assistance is required in all facets of event planning, preparation, and execution as needed. This includes:Setting up chairs, tables, and buffetsHandling cashier duties, ticket, and concession salesDelivering food and managing clean-upMaintaining event and catering equipment.Minimum Qualifications:Proficiency in following both written and verbal instructions.Keen attention to detail with a willingness to assist as needed.Capability to work independently and collaboratively.Preferred Qualifications:While experience with audio-visual equipment or familiarity with Geary Theater is advantageous, it is not mandatory.Along with the online application, please attach:Resume/CV to be uploaded at the beginning of your application in the Candidate Profile under “Resume/CV”**Document size may not exceed 10 MB.**$10.25 per hourThis position requires moderate physical effort. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position, including lifting up to 30 pounds, walking, and standing for extended periods.
