TheLearning Management Systems (LMS) Directoroversees the management, optimization, and reporting functions of Vinfen’s Learning Management System (LMS) and related learning data. This role ensures that the LMS operates efficiently, supports compliance requirements, and provides meaningful insights to guide learning and development initiatives across the organization.The Director is responsible for maintaining system accuracy, improving reporting processes, and supporting a culture of continuous learning and accountability. This position requires on-site presencetwo days per week at the Vinfen Training Center in Allston, MA.Learning Management System OversightOversee the design, functionality, and administration of Vinfen’s LMS, ensuring reliability, usability, and alignment with organizational needs.Serves as the primary vendor liaison, managing contracts, upgrades, integrations, and escalations.Implements process and tracking improvements to strengthen participation, compliance, and reporting accuracy.Manages LMS operations and maintenance while guiding administrative support.Partners with the Learning Design team to drive user adoption through clear communication, training, and ongoing support for staff and managers.Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and documentation for LMS administration, reporting, and data processes.Data Analysis and ReportingCollects, analyzes, and reports training data to track learner engagement, completion rates, and compliance.Develops and maintains data dashboards and reports that support program evaluation and continuous improvement.Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with organizational metrics and compliance standards.In partnership with key stakeholders, establishes and maintains data governance practices to ensure learning records are accurate, consistent, and compliant across systems.Collaboration and CompliancePartners with the stakeholders to ensure training systems and data processes meet regulatory, funder, and accreditation standards.Supports internal and external audits by maintaining accurate and accessible training and compliance records.Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing system enhancements and user experience improvements.Communicates key learning metrics and insights to leadership and department stakeholders to support informed decision-making.Professional Growth and InnovationStays current with trends and best practices in LMS platforms, learning analytics, and data management.Recommends and implements practical innovations to improve system performance and reporting capabilitiesEnsures that learning technologies and resources are accessible and equitable for all employees, including individuals with disabilities and those in varied roles or locations.Established in 1977, Vinfen is a nonprofit, health and human services organization and a leading provider of community-based services to individuals with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, or disability status.Master’s degree in information systems, Data Analytics, Learning Technologies, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Human Services, or a related field required.Abachelor’s degree combined with 10+ relevant experiencemay be consideredin lieu of a master’s degree.5+ years of progressive experiencein LMS administration, learning systems management, or data analysis, with familiarity in platforms such asRelias(or similar) and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.2+ yearsof supervisory or project leadership experience, preferably within a learning, HR, or IT environment.Demonstrated experience withHRIS/LMS integrationsand system implementation or optimization projects.Familiarity with data visualization and analytics toolssuch as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or advanced Excel, and a willingness to enhance reporting capabilities as the organization grows.Working knowledgeof adult learning theoryto effectively collaborate with content and program development teams.
