Immediate Hiring Need for a CarpenterFull Time Position with Great Benefits PlanOur company is seeking a talented and experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in our operations, contributing your expertise and craftsmanship to a variety of projects. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and will have the opportunity to learn and take on responsibilities across all areas of our shop.In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using hand tools and power tools. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential to your success in this position.We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment where you can grow your skills and advance your career. If you are a skilled Carpenter with a passion for your craft and a desire to be part of a dedicated team, we encourage you to apply.RESPONSIBILITIES:Cut wood to length on sawAssemble skids and cratesMove raw materials and finished product with hand trucks or forkliftStage raw materials for assemblyPackage finished goods for shipmentStock completed items in the appropriate placeClean up work areaForklift operation (once certified)Assist other work areas as required to complete production requirementsQualifications:5+ years’ carpentry, construction, or military background5+ years’ experience in operation and maintenance of wood cutting and assembly equipment (table saw, beam saw, upcut saw, etc.).Strong mechanical aptitudeRead blueprintsAble to perform skilled work with a high degree of difficulty.A high degree of initiative and creativity is required due to the complex nature of the situations/conditions of the position.Must have the ability to work independentlyAbility to effectively problem-solveAbility to communicate well with co-workers and customers.Ability to lead, direct, mentor and supervise team members.Exhibits care and strong attention to detailPreferred but Not Required:Forklift certification***Veterans Are Encouraged to Apply**
