SLR is seeking a Civil Engineer to work in our Civil Engineering grouplocated in our Agawam, MA office location. The Civil Engineering groupprovides a full range of professional services on a variety of excitingand significant projects that vary from urban mixed-use developments tosolar installations. Our design work covers all aspects of site designincluding site planning and engineering, road design, stormwatermanagement design, sustainable design, LEED, erosion control, utilitydesign, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and land use permitting. TheCivil Engineer will work in an integrated team alongside a projectengineer and under the supervision of a project manager on planning;design; permitting; analysis; stormwater calculations, and technicalreports for a wide variety of site development projects for private andmunicipal clients. The salary rangefor this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Final agreed upon compensationwill be commensurate with individual education, professionaldesignation, experience, internal parity, and location. Full-time,permanent role with opportunities for professional growth andadvancement Responsibilities: Perform civil engineering design work formunicipal and private built environment projects Prepare calculationsfor storm drainage and stormwater management systems and supportingdocumentation Develop sustainable solutions Visit project sites for thepurpose of data collection and monitoring Utilize a variety of computerprograms including AutoCAD and HydroCad software to undertake designsand computations Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications/Education/Memberships: Bachelor of Science degree inCivil Engineering 0-3 years of experience in built environment designProficiency in Auto CAD Civil 3D Valid drivers license Engineer inTraining (EIT) Certification Strong attention to detail with excellentanalytical and judgment capabilities Demonstrated ability to followdirection and work in a team environment Excellent written andcommunication skills Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
