Job Description The EDI Implementer will be responsible for customer onboarding of EDI transactions and implementation of defect/enhancement fixes. This position is responsible for analyzing and specifying business requirements for enhancements and extensions in EDI applications, interfaces, and mappings. Collaborates with IT and third-party VAN to develop and test customer transactions and new EDI implementations. Recommends, designs, and implements new standards, policies, and processes to enhance departmental effectiveness and overall customer experience. Includes the following and performs additional responsibilities as assigned. u2022u2003Analyze and define EDI requirements for customers. Reviews and maintains all EDI maps to drive compliance with business requirements, standards, and policies. u2022u2003Using solid knowledge of EDI practices, implement and manage successful EDI solutions to strengthen core and further scale operations. Drives adoption of new EDI processes and implements future state roadmap. u2022u2003Extensive experience with Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes, as well as relevant EDI ANSI X12 transactions, including EDI 850, 855, 860, 865, 856, 810, 820, 812T, 753, 754, 824, and 864. u2022u2003Coordinate with internal teams and external trading partners to set up new EDI connections and ensure compliance with their specifications. u2022u2003Establish & maintain strong relationships with trading partners to facilitate efficient EDI connections and transaction exchange. u2022u2003Manage EDI-related business support responsibilities. Provide ongoing internal/external customer support for EDI transactions and problems. u2022u2003Manage and develop customer relationships with key customers and third-party EDI VAN to facilitate EDI implementations. u2022u2003Recommend, design, and adopt new standards, procedures, and improved processes to improve department effectiveness and overall customer experience. Remains current regarding EDI and internet field technological developments. u2022u2003Monitors issues, enhancements, and questions until resolution. u2022u2003Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to meet organizational expectations and regulatory requirements. Able to effectively communicate between various departments and levels within the organization. u2022u2003Ability to work with sensitive/confidential information. Demonstrated a high level of integrity and ethics. u2022u2003Background in business practices of retail customers. u2022u2003Experience with Oracle ERP, SQL Queries, and Automation Tools. u2022u2003Knowledge of the Manufacturing business domain, Supply Chain, and Logistics processes.
