As a Software Engineer Principal within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Dalla, TX, Birmingham, AL, Cleveland, OH, or Pittsburgh, PA. Core responsibilities include: u2022 Align business strategy with software solutions. u2022 Propose and design complex software solutions and processes addressing complex Investments business needs. u2022 Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using ETL and big data technologies. u2022 Design, develop and maintain mainframe CA7 job schedules to support new and existing processes. u2022 Create complex SQL and PL/SQL queries using TOAD, SQL developer, Teradata Studio, Hive to perform Data Mining/Data Analysis. u2022 Oversee technical and procedural documentation. u2022 Lead complex problem solving. u2022 Collaborate with business analysts, data Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data solutions. u2022 Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions to ensure high availability and performance. u2022 Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development. u2022 Display an innovative approach to apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities. u2022 Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to prioritize technology deliverables. u2022 Perform code reviews and suggest potential improvements and formulate best practices. u2022 Ensure quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes. u2022 Implement data modeling techniques to support analytics and reporting needs. u2022 Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across all data processes. u2022 Create technical design and application architecture diagrams. u2022 Establish data and system integrations between internal and external partners. u2022 Establish and manage various OBIEE reports for business sales performance and key metrics. u2022 Design, document and test APIs using tools such as Swagger editor, PostMan and SOAPUI. u2022 Build integrations between internal and external applications using both REST & SOAP based APIs. u2022 Support Single-Sign On (SSO) technology for internal and external vendor applications using SAML. u2022 Integrate and automate business processes using CRM tools such as Salesforce and Oracle Siebel. u2022 Align to business and IT priorities by effectively leveraging waterfall, iterative and Agile methodologies, while coaching and mentoring team members. u2022 Coordinate Disaster Recovery events with enterprise support teams. Education Bachelors Certifications No Required Certification(s) Licenses No Required License(s) Pay Transparency Base Salary: $65,000.00 u2013 $165,600.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
