Maintenance Technician

Gpac is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician to play a key role in performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting daily production needs. You’ll work closely with the Maintenance Manager to maintain uptime, implement improvements, and ensure our equipment operates safely and effectively.Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of food packaging and process equipmentConduct daily and weekly preventative maintenance inspectionsAssist with machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments for productionTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsPerform light plumbing, electrical, welding, and carpentry tasks as neededCollaborate with the Maintenance Manager to recommend equipment upgradesMaintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standardsWork in a refrigerated production environment Qualifications Experience with food packaging machines (e.g., Multivac Tray Sealers, Multivac Thermoformers, Weber High-Speed Slicers) requiredExperience with automated process equipment such as slicers and pick-and-pack systemsStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret engineering schematics (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic)HVAC experience is a plusExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed Schedule Monday - Friday, fixed daily hoursDay and second shifts availableOccasional overtime/weekends as required If interested and serious, please send you resume to Alek at alek.scherbergogpacAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
