Dartmouth-Hitchcock Pharmacy in Lebanon, NH seeks a Pharmacist Supervisor for Inpatient Operations and Distributive Services. This position supports the Medication Systems and Operations (MSO) Manager in providing leadership and oversight within distribution services. This Pharmacist Supervisor will have direct oversight of the inventory technician team, pharmacy interns and pharmacists with a primary staffing area within central pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to: managing staff, ensuring compliance to all applicable state and federal guidelines, and maintaining the inventory of all medications.Helps to hire, train and evaluate Pharmacy Department staff.Schedules staff and ensures appropriate staff coverageAssists in the development and administration of departmental policies and proceduresMay prepare and dispense medication orders per physician request by interpreting and evaluating medication orders and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles.
