Our service-oriented mission is in action every day, whether it’s by providing care in our facilities, training the next generation of health care professionals, or serving others through international outreach.ResponsibilitiesWork with Business Intelligence Developers to provide data needed for reports.Monitor, Maintain and Contribute to the technical metadata found in the Caboodle metadata repositories.Analyze non‐Epic Caboodle datasets to identify required data elements to be moved into Caboodle/KH Warehouse.Map non‐Epic datasets to existing database structures within Caboodle/KH Warehouse.Design and develop custom database structures within the KH Warehouse or Epic Caboodle as needed.Develop custom imports to move additional pieces of Epic data from Clarity to Caboodle.Develop custom import packages to move non‐Epic data into Caboodle/KH Warehouse.Modify the Clarity, KH Warehouse or Caboodle ETL processes to meet organizational reporting needs.Add new Clarity tables and columns to the data model as needed.Ensure optimal performance and integrity of all ETL processes by maintaining KH best practices.Design, build, test, document, and maintain custom extracts to be shared with KH Partners and third party vendors as needed. Troubleshoot custom extracts and resolve errors.Coordinate with integration team to schedule delivery of custom extracts and troubleshoot/resolve issues as needed. Maintain and update existing SSAS cubes.Design and implement SSAS cubes.Support and troubleshoot the Clarity, Caboodle, Slicer Dicer, BI RESTful, and Interconnect based Cogito tools as needed.Train/mentor new members of the team.Serve as point person for production downtimes to disable/enable impacted schedules.Mentor/assist other team members to ensure optimal performance and integrity of all ETL processes by maintaining KH best practices.Respond to emergency and after-hours issues.Job RequirementsAssociates degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience-3-5 years of experience as an ETL Developer or related fieldEpic Certification or obtained within 6 monthsPreferred Job QualificationsKnowledge in a variety of data warehouse applications and toolsKnowledge of data structures, database solutions, and best practice data management principlesSQL Server Integration Services package development, configuration and deploymentExperience with TSQL, performance monitoring and query tuningPrior experience working in healthcare industry with Epic EMR
