We are looking for a Manager of Outpatient Therapy Services to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.At PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Our teams work together to deliver the highest level of compassionate care ensuring the best possible outcome for our patients.The Manager of Outpatient Therapy Services is responsible for therapy department management, delivery, and coordination of services provided in an age-appropriate manner, consistent with the principles and practices of applicable therapy practice acts of the state where the hospital resides, the professional code of ethics, and the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Manager of Therapy Services is responsible for department/administrative responsibilities and other related duties as assigned or requested. The Manager of Therapy Services is responsible for direct patient care for the population served in the inpatient outpatient therapy setting(s).Education and Training: Current license as PT, OTR, SLP, PTA OR OTA in state where hospital resides required. Current BLS certification required.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical/patient care experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.Ability to read and write the English Language.Ability to supervise personnel and to establish an environment which will optimize performance. Ability to develop positive working relationships with peers, supervisory management personnel and staff. Ability to communicate with patients and family members in establishing a favorable attitude and motivating them to desired cooperation and efforts.Numerical ability to understand and use statistical professional data and knowledge of clerical data.Ability to foresee future problems or outcomes. Develops and executes programs for maximal results.Understands the scientific basis of techniques used and utilization of current research to support evidence based practice.Acts in accordance with a well-developed sense of professional and ethical values.Ability to analyze and solve client rehabilitation needs.Patience for client contact.
