QA Engineer

As ourQA Engineer, you will bean integral part of the design and implementation of Information Technology oriented business solutions. The person in this position is responsible for carrying out testing activities related to projects ensuring all deliverables are released to specification and of the highest quality. This position will develop and execute test scripts/suites and test data necessary to validate team deliverables.This is an onsite position in Omaha, NE. Candidate must reside in Omaha, NE.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsDesign and execution of test plans/scripts to ensure the highest level of quality is deliveredDesign system integration, regression, and UAT testing solutions utilizing business/functional requirements to follow Adaptive/Responsive development standardsEnsure software development standards, policies and documented requirements are met by generating traceability matrices and reportsProvide execution and defect metrics to project leadershipUtilize provided tool sets to efficiently/effectively test new software developmentUtilize provided tool sets to develop and run automated test suites used to perform regression testingConduct defect management and work with technical and business teams to resolve functional and non-functional issues and ensure the quality of deliverablesUnderstand how and why clients use the applicationBecome a subject matter expert on product features/functionalityAbide by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading CompanyMust be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance noticeWork requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractorsMarginal Functions1.
