Discover endless opportunities to grow and make your mark at Hines.As a Lead Concierge with Hines, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Galleria’s guests, merchants, and vendors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:General computer skills including research for customers, merchants, and management as needed.Have knowledge of, and provide information about the center, stores, center events, competition, and the surrounding area.Direct customer concerns and suggestions to the appropriate person for resolution.Support Galleria management personnel as needed.Effectively communicate with Security and Janitorial personnel using a hand-held radio.Understand shopping center emergency procedures and media procedures.Handle phone calls professionally and courteously.Be familiar with store merchandise and services.Anticipate customer’s unspoken needs.Review the center’s website on an on-going basis to keep current on activities, new stores and other information. Review store catalogues.Support marketing programs and special events as needed.Responsible for opening and closing procedures.Distribute wheelchairs, electric carts and strollers.Keep the Guest Services area neat, orderly, and well stocked with supplies.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements include:High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.One or more years of customer service/retail experience preferred.Excellent customer service skills and strong organizational and communication skills required.May be required to wear a uniform.May assist customers physically (i.e., assisting with wheelchairs, etc.), and replenish Artful Living magazines.Must be available to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.At Hines, we strive for excellence as a leading global real estate investment manager, driven by our by our belief that real estate is fundamentally about people.
