(NYSE: PWR).Build your career at Irby Construction.Irby Construction Company is seeking a seasoned General Superintendent to oversee large-scale data center construction projects. The role involves leading daily field operations, managing safety and quality, and ensuring timely project delivery while upholding company standards.Lead site execution of complex Data Center systems with a deep understanding of associated risksManage safety, quality, compliance, and risk mitigation across all phases of constructionOversee site logistics including cranes, trailers, and heavy equipment coordinationDirect weekly work activities and sequencing for trade crews and subcontractorsMaintain and communicate current as-built drawings, revision logs, and drawing setsConduct constructability reviews and develop scopes of work for tradesFacilitate owner and design partner meetings, and coordinate with trade principalsMonitor field progress against schedule and develop recovery plans as neededLead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and enforce site-specific safety protocolsManage phased job site utilization plans and workforce deploymentConduct preconstruction meetings for each phase and scope of workGuide Site Superintendents in short-term look-ahead scheduling and executionPlan crane operations, material staging, and overall construction flowReview quantity takeoffs and materials management during buyoutTrack milestone completion and manage project closeout, punch lists, and permittingMentor direct reports and conduct performance evaluationsFoster strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendorsUphold company values, ethics, and compliance standards throughout the projectRefuse unsafe work and enforce Irby Construction Company’s Procedures and Work PracticesReport incidents, near misses, and hazards promptlyMaintain and wear required PPE at all timesParticipate in inspections, training, and safety meetingsEnsure trade partner compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety codeMinimum 12 years of construction experience, including projects valued at $100MM+Strong knowledge of complex Data Center systems and mission-critical infrastructureProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management toolsAbility to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and installation manualsDemonstrated competency across all major trade typesPaid Vacation Paid HolidaysMedical Dental VisionLife Insurance401KAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
