Customer Service Representative - Translator

Sentry is currently seeking an individual to translate verbally or rewrite documents in specified language following established rules pertaining to factors such as word meanings, sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, and mechanics. Verbal translation is provided over the phone and at times in person. Responsible for transcribing recorded statements.**New Hires coming to us will receive in total a $1000 Sign-on Bonus: $1500 Sign-On Bonus for Bilingual over the course of one year****New Hires coming to us with a Property & Casualty Producers license will receive in total a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid over the course of 6 Months in addition to our new hire sign-on bonus**Positions filled in Freeport, Illinois this position will pay $15.27 - $21.00What You'll DoAs the translator for Sentry Insurance, you will translate verbally phone conversations and rewrite documents in both English and Spanish. This individual would also follow a hybrid work model. For Sentry, our flexible schedule would be Mondays and Fridays are optional work from home days and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in office days.Additionally, you’ll:Participate on phone calls between Sentry and ClaimantsInterpret various dialect meanings while translating verbally or in written formProvide translation services to all Sentry officesTranslate a high volume of calls dailyProvide a high quality of customer service for internal and external customersWhat It TakesAssociate Degree or equivalent work experience0-2 years of related work experienceExcellent ability to speak, read and write fluently in English and SpanishFamiliar with various dialect meanings in both English and SpanishPrevious experience in the insurance field is desirableAbility to meet tight deadlines, maintain confidentiality and provide work direction.What You'll ReceiveAt Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
