This role is located in Montpelier, OHand will be fully on-site.Quality Intern Responsibilities:Responsible for leading continuous improvement efforts by analyzing data to determine improvement opportunities in operations, safety and/or qualityWill work directly with engineering, manufacturing, quality, safety and metallurgistMust be pursuing a degree or minor in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials ScienceThe ideal candidate will have a background in chemical/metallurgical process control, mechanical and electrical systems and data acquisitionA commitment to the continuous improvement of plant operationsAll other duties as assignedQuality Intern Qualifications:Materials Science or Metallurgical Engineering Student, Sophomore level or aboveBasic understanding of laboratory operations including; chemical, mechanical and metallurgical testingBasic understanding of statisticsProficient in Microsoft office and other basic computer skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsJoining Wieland’s team gives you…Growth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
